Skin Care: Oily Darker Sweating SKIN?

Hi all,

My skin/face complexion is dark, i'am asian.

But my face tends to be highly oily and i easily get sweated all the time. Plus my face is mush more darker than usual.....

I tried jonsosn's clean n clear as a facial wash but didn't got an effect on oilyness in my face.....

plus i also tried fair and lovely, anti marks cream for my darkend area in my face but it too seems not responding...........

How could i overcome:

1) Oilyness

2) Sweating (excessive)

3) Unusual darkness

Please provide me advice on that............

My email is : siri_sangabodhi@yahoo.com

Hope to hear a good reply from you all.......

Many thanks!

PS: Also I have alovera plant at home....... any thing i can do with that?...............

actually Noxzema, Clearasil is bad for your skin if you have problems...even small problem ed skin. those products and some over the counter products are only good for very flawless skin. they will only make your skin more oily or dry it out.

you will want to see a dermatologist or a skin care therapist. possibly get a facial at a medical spa somewhere. the therapist will analyze your skin and tell you what type of skin you actually have and go from there. the therapist will tell you exactly what types of products will be good for your skin.

it's always best to exfoliate, cleanse, use a toner, and a moisturizer. (exfoliate) is good only a few times a week...more that that is too aggressive for skin)
Reply:hmm oily skin

Reply:The best adnice: visit a dermatologist. Because of your excessively oily skin, over-the-counter products are not likely to help this issue. You'll most likely save a lot of time and money by just going to see a dermatologist rather than trying to battle it on your own.

A good dermatologist will be able to diagnose the problem and provide the best solution. If you don't currently have a dermatologist, your general physician should be able to give you the names and numbers of some good skincare doctors in your area.

In the meantime, make sure to wash your face with a good cleanser for oily skin, such as Noxema or Clearasil at least two times a day (once in the morning, once at night). Be sure to follow that by cleaning your face with a food toner or astringent, preferably one also for oily skin. Additionally, you could buy topical medication that you can apply and leave on after using the toner. A cream such as Clearasil's Daily Acne Control Cream should help your skin dry and clear.

Remember, a dermatologist will be able to give you the best treatment.

Good Luck!
Reply:Consider having a professional analylise your skin type and go from there.
