I have a large pimple on my forehead, and I've been using a sacylic acid based cream on it. Usually, that cream make my bleamishes dry up, but this time, it just made the skin on top of my pimple all thick and dry-ish, but the bleamish is still there underneath. What should I do? I've been having that pimple for about a week now.
Something weird happened when using acne cream.?
Are you sure it's a regular pimple? It could be cystic acne, which doesn't respond the same way to regular acne treatments. The best thing to do with cystic acne is to apply warm compresses every night. Unfortunately, unless it has a head, it usually just needs time to go away on its own. Make sure you are using an oil-free moisturizer to help keep your skin from getting too dry. Another option is you can go to the doctor and they can inject some anti-inflammatory medication into it to help it shrink.
