My daughter can't shave everyday because her skin is very sensitive?

She wants to shave everyday but she can't, if she shaves before the second or third day of a previous shave then she gets itching and redness on the skin, possibly even an infection. We tried dry shaving with an electronic shaver and nowadays she shaves using a razor. We want a solution or a good cream or good method of shaving that will be gentle to her skin... Please help...

I have always had extremely sensitive skin and feel like I need to shave daily cause the hair on my legs %26amp; stuff just keeps growing back so fast. Try Clinique shave gel for men. They may have it for women now too, but I use the kind for men and it works really well. I used to have her same problem. You can find this at major department stores where they sell the Clinique make-up.

Reply:shaving daily is pointless, at least for me. the 2nd day is just as smooth. how old is she? it's winter, anyways, and unless she has gym with boys she prob. doesn't need to shave more than once every 4 days or so.
Reply:using an upward motion with the razor is gentler. also i absolutely adore aveeno shave cream!!! it is GREAT for sensitive skin. ABSOLUTELY GREAT!! and put a calming body lotion on afterwards. hmmmm.... like AVEENO!!!!!!

b. use a shaving cream/gel. DONT USE SCENTED IT GIVES YOU BUMPS!!!


c. this is called razor burn to help keep it under control use a unscented lotion like aveeno daily moisturizing lotion after you shave + once a day. good luck!
