What creams or bath soaps are good for someone that gets boils ( skin abcess's) alot?

My husband has had this problem for a few years. He gets infected pores that get to be about the size of a quarter. The surgeon he sees tells him they are skin abcesses. All the DR does is cut them open and drain them. He suggested my husband go to a skin specialist but we cant afford it. He gets about 6 to 8 a year of these. Is there anything he can use to avoid this? From what I know, it seems to be hereditary though his family.

The best thing to do to avoid them is bathe daily rather than shower because the warm water will keep them at bay, while relaxing the muscle around the area so it doesn't get larger. He may still get the boils, but they will be small and less painful. If he does get them use the membrane from an egg (the part you don't eat that is connected to the shell) and let it cover the entire boil and it will bring it a head and burst by itself (I would leave each peice of membrane on until it loses all moisture). You may need to do this for an hour or two depending on the severity of the abcess.
