What cream would you recommend for stretch marks. etc...?

Ok i have stretch marks and they arent really visible.. (from first child)... well they look more like how cellulite does.. .. well is there a cream out there that is safe to use while pregnant that will help.. Stretch marks new and old.. and also firm the skin and help get rid of cellulite?.... thanks!!

What cream would you recommend for stretch marks. etc...?
Of course every one is going to say coco butter, but I'd also try buttermilk lotions as well. Both help with stretch marks and make the skin nice and smooth. Now..I'm sorry but the only item I have for celluite (which by the way soo kicks butt at reducing it) isn't suggested for pregnant women. I do suggest though that you could give it a try after your delivery? It's called "Spa Energie Vegetable" Body definition serum. If you probably haven't guessed it's made of mostly vegetables (looks kinda like V8 juice but more orange) but obviously has other chemicals that aren't good for a child. It's up to you though. Good luck!

Reply:Super Shape from AVON
Reply:Coco Butter can help make them lighter if need-be.

Research Mederma and speak with your doctor about it. It is a very successful product.
Reply:Cocoa butter is good for stretch marks. To get rid of cellulite you have to exercise, they will not go away by themselves or with any kind of cream.
Reply:I have heard that Coco Butter is great for stretch marks, also for itcy skin during pregnancy.
Reply:I, with 4 kids, no stretch marks, I was surprised. I have heard that NO cream works. BUT, I used one from a maternity store made with cocoa butter.
Reply:My friend said her sister got rid of stretch marks by tanning? Maybe try that?
Reply:palmer's cocoa lotion
Reply:I use super shape from Avon. I haven't been using it for very long but so far my skin seems noticeably firmer.
Reply:Revitol. It really works. On old stretch marks and to prevent new ones. It's great stuff. Go to www.revitol.com. Also, I have heard that "Bio Oil" is really great, too. You can get it at www.walgreens.com.

Reply:There are a variety of ways of getting rid of( or more likely making them less noticeable) stretch marks.

1. Surgical Methods : Dermabrasion or chemical peel can be used to address unwanted stretch marks, and there are new advances in laser surgeries. The degree of success with any treatment will be impacted by your age, your skin tone and even your diet. It's important to note that insurance coverage probably will not cover stretch mark removal because it is a cosmetic procedure (even if the stretch marks are particularly severe).

2. Lotions and Creams :There are plenty over-the-counter treatments for stretch marks. If you are a woman who is pregnant and you are concerned with stretch marks, let your physician know you want to begin preventative treatment before your stomach starts growing. Often, your physician can recommend creams. You may want to try something with aloe, butter creams, or even Mederma cream

3. Diet and Exercise : Make sure you are maintaining healthy skin! drink plenty of water. Proper water intake keeps your skin soft and less likely to develop stretch marks. Caffeine can increase your risk of stretch marks. If you're stuck on your caffeinated coffee or tea, make sure you balance the fluids. Drink just as much - or more - water as you drink coffee, tea or soda.

4. Remember, stretch marks can also result from nutritional deficiency. Be sure to consume foods that promote skin health. Zinc-rich foods such as nuts or fish . Foods high in vitamins A, C, D, such as carrots, citrus fruits and milk.

Protein-rich foods (such as eggs).

Good luck.

Reply:yeah the cocoa butter will help palmers is good i hear....but i just used regular lotion 3 times a day on the belly to keep it moisturized so it can stretch easier...i didnt have them on my stomack though just on my ***!
Reply:Many people believe that nothing can help stretch marks. This just isn't true anymore. I used a product called TriLastin to help fade my stretch marks after 2 pregnancies and I'm very happy with the results.
Reply:Bio oil. It's a LIFESAVER. You can use it on your face too, prevents wrinkles and evens skin tone, fades and scarring and stretch marks and just makes your skin lovely!!

Not sure how it works but it's some magical combiation of vitamin E and protiens and other fabulous things... Works like a charm x
