A good, preventative eye cream?

I'm only 15 (almost 16) but I want to take really good care of my skin and have it look good for a long time. I want to start using an eye cream that will help get rid of dark circles/puffiness and prevent aging. Basically, just a good eye cream that is made to PREVENT aging, not something made for people with effects of aging already in place. Any price range is fine (although something less expensive is always good...). Thank you!

If you don't have dark circles and puffiness then you shouldn't use the creams intended to because it will take away/add vitamins/minerals to your skin that you don't need. Your under eyes are very thin so you don't want to build up to much moisture.

Reply:At your age all you really need is a good oil free moisturizer and a sunscreen. Be careful with the sunscreen in the eye area though.


Elizabeth Arden has a line called Intervene which is designed to prevent the fine lines and wrinkles from occuring.
Reply:my advice to you would be that as your so young its better to use a really nourishing moisturizing cream that will help your skin to mature that little bit slower. My advice would be to use something either by nars which is a really great brand or elemis which is also good.
Reply:People make the mistake of putting mositurizer around their eyes this will cause puffyness. You should never ever mosituize around the eyes, that would be like putting foot cream on your face we don't have glands around our eyes and the tissue their is totaly different.
