Mederma skin care for scaors?

Well i have a scar in fore head due to a laser surgery removing some viral. Does this cream works and what is the side effect while using this gel. Does the skin get dry using this gel? How do u apply this gel?

Well you can use this and pay out the wasssooo for it or you can you good ol' store brand neosporin and you will basically get the same results. Yes the mederma may have properties in it that will help the results along a little quicker but not much. I have rosceacea, which is a form of acne and the neosporin is what my dermatologist recommended. However, I do not have many scars from the acne but I have had several surgeries and it has helped with that. Also my sister and my niece both had to have c-sections with their babies and it has helped them greatly. It is something you could try or ask your dermatologist or the surgeon that did the laser surgery. Hope it works for you as well as it has for us.
Reply:The main ingredient in Mederma is onion peel extract. The cream is very expensive and some doctors do swear by it. The BEST thing for a scar is time and something you can do to help is to massage the scar ALOT.(several times a day). This will help flatten the area down. The color will take longer to go away.
