Best moisturizer for skin?


I wanted to know what would be a good moisturiser for the face.I would like to apply it at nightime.I am in my 20s and have fairly dry skin would like to take care early on so that my skin stays healthy ,however I would not like to use the anti-aging or anti-wrinkle products this early.I sometimes have zits come up on my cheeks but not very severe.





Would a cream like Ponds,Niveia,Oil of Olay be fine for the face.Would they do any good?


Or should i try something lighter?

For day I like Olay Complete Defense SPF 30 (the sensitive skin formula). For night I dab Cetaphil Dry Skin Cream on my face (and body). Both are cheap and at the drugstore. I also like Olay SPF 15 lotion when I want something light on my face. I think almost any lotion would work but I like the Olay products in general.





I might keep it off your cheeks if you have acne. If your skin isn't dry in a certain area it doesn't need nighttime moisturizer--daytime only for the sunscreen factor.





The best moisturizer for my dry skin overall has been fish oil capsules. Swallowed--not on skin. A good quality fish oil supplement helps dry skin and got rid of my eczema. Make sure it's fish and not cod liver oil.

Reply:You will have to try and see. Every skin is different and every person prefers different things. I would suggest ou buy the small packs (trial size if possible) and try each cream for at least a week to see which is best for you.

Reply:I also tend to get pimples and I have to be careful of the moisturizers I use. The two that have worked best for me have been Olay total effects spf 15 and L'oreal Happyderm normal/oily. Neither cause breakouts and both soften my skin nicely. The worst I have tried is Lancome, I break out horribly when I use them.
Reply:Kinerase is a really great moisurizer. It is a bit pricy though, But it feels so good on skin and it helps to prevent the lines and wrinkles that come later on in life with dry skin. Also try olay complete defense spf30 to help protect skin while moisturizing it without that heavy greasy feeling. It is the moisturizer i used daily under makeup and it prevents the dry cracking lines I can get after using harsh oil stripping cleansers.


Also try a moisture mask. Pons makes a moisture mask called "5 minutes moisture repair" it helps leaves your skin feeling fresh and very moisturized.
