Very dry skin around eyes and eyebrows please help?

My skin is extremely dry under my eyebrows this is so embarassing but you can see it (i dont have any scalp dandruff though) and also above my eye lids are very very dry. Ive tried all the lotions over the counter, currently using loreal age perfect night cream it seems the best. I used vasaline, I tried taking vitamin E, fish oil, and flax oil vitamins. I have this all year long but its worse now in the cold weather. I'm 20 and kind of just got this problem after high school. I DID have anorexia all through high school so i know that could make my skin bad, but I've maintained a healthy weight for over a year now. Please any vitamins i need to take or any really good otc lotion?? I wake up flaking:( Moneys really tight for a dermatologist so any advice is appreciated THANK YOU!

Drink plenty of water to hydrate from the inside first. Do vaseline at night and lotion with shea/cocoa butter during the day. Bobbi brown (although expensive) make a great vitamin E cream. Try a sample at their makeup counter before splurging on it.
Reply:Love u need to get the right cream for your skin, it sounds like u have a combination skin, and the right face wash. also drink a lot of water. U have to norish your skin from the inside too.
Reply:Try Clinique - All about eyes in the day and at night I use Daily eye benefits. It helped me tremendously. It softens the dry skin.
Reply:i used to have bad dry skin around my eyes as well. it made it really difficult to put makeup on because it would make my dry skin more prominent.

i have eczema so i know all too well about dry skin. i've tried every lotion, presciption, and cream i possibly could and nothing worked.

but after years of searching, i found a super cheap miracle that is my beauty secret i'll use until the day i die.

if you go to walmart, in the pharmacy section..ask them to help you find the hydrocortisone cream. i get the equate brand in the white and blue box. i live by this stuff. after you take a shower..apply a little dab each on any dry spots you have. even your eyelids. if you keep it up, the dryness should be gone within a week. just keep using it everyday and it should keep the dry spots away. look i even ryhmed for you. lol.

but seriously...my sister had really bad dryness on her eyelids and i told her to use this and it cleared it up for her as well.

it's SUPER cheap too! 1.97 for the little tube or 3.97 for the big tube.

lol i sound alittle obsessed but i'm really not. i just love this stuff and want to let everyone with dry skin know about it because it really works!
Reply:While it appears almost anywhere on parts of the body with skin, DRY SKIN PROBLEM responds well to self-care measures, such as using moisturizers and avoiding long, hot showers and baths. If you have very dry and scaly skin, your doctor may recommend you use an all-natural cream that contains natural oils that gives soothing and glowing results.

In a more serious skin disease, such as ichthyosis or psoriasis, your doctor may prescribe prescription creams and ointments or other treatments in addition to home care.

Dry skin leads to dermatitis, which causes red, itchy skin. In these cases, treatment may include lotions with natural-oil ingredients. If your skin cracks open, your doctor may prescribe wet dressings with mildly astringent properties to contract your skin and reduce secretions and prevent infection.

I believe http://www.skinsosilky.com/ will help you best for more advices, ideas and best treatments for any skin problem like dry skin.
