Make up problems.. dry skin or is the make up coming off?

I cleanse my face everyday with cetaphil, then put perscription pimple cream on, and over that I put moisturizer, then make up. After awhile, you can see the makeup.. like my skin looks cracked (but it isnt) and you can see the makeup in the poors or something.. do you know what this is from or what causes it, and what can I do to stop it? I have combo skin and blemish prone skin, and no matter what moisturizer i use it always happens.

It's probably because there is too much stuff on your skin.

When putting on several layers of products, you need to allow time for soaking in and drying between them.

If you put heavy layers of products, it will eventually get as you describe. Try lightening up on the amount of each product, blending in longer and allowing a few more minutes between each layer.

I also, lightly brush a light mineral powder over the foundation make up before adding eye makeup and blush.

Your moisturizer may be too heavy. Make sure it's a lightweight day moisturizer.

Try these things and good luck.
Reply:When you put moisturiser on make sure you wait awhile before putting on makeup[until its dry],if your skin is too moist your makeup will go funny looking.Make sure any sweat or oil is wiped off,it could be your makeup or moisturiser, make sure they don't contain alcohlol or harsh chemicals and also oil, these can dry out skin,it might be the pimple cream as they are made to dry out acne, try leaving it off until the end of the day when your makeup is off.
