Supplements for dry skin?
I know this may sound very basic, but I wonder if you're drinking enough water. We all need at least 2 litres each day, and if we don't take in sufficient our bodies soon tell us that something's wrong. Dry skin, urine infections and tiredness to name a few symptoms. From the site below: 'So if you don't drink sufficient water, you can impair every aspect of your physiology. Dr. Howard Flaks, Beverly Hills, Calif, says, "By not drinking enough water, many people incur excess body fat, poor muscle tone and size, decreased digestive efficiency and organ function, increased toxicity in the body, joint and muscle soreness, and water retention............We even need water to breathe: our lungs must be moist to take in oxygen and excrete carbon dioxide. It is possible to lose a pint of liquid each day just exhaling.' If you don't think you're drinking enough, this is worth a try.
Also, if you have difficulty in applying creams, etc., you could put an oil into your bath water instead. Avon do one called 'Skin so Soft Bath Oil', which is very good although, as would be expected, it does make the bath a bit slippery!. There's info on the second site re the Avon product.
Reply:You can get "Oilatum" at the chemist, used to use it for my daughters dry skin when she was younger, you put it in the bath.
Reply:Try tuna fish oil and hotdog water. Mix two parts hotdog water with 3 parts tuna oil. Smear on skin. Apply 8 times daily. No one will notice your skin because your smell will be overbearing. Problem solved.
Reply:Vitamin E and primrose thingy are meant to be good.
Reply:dunno creame
