How do i cure peeling skin under my nose? HELP PLZ!?

ok, let me start from the beginning. About a week back my face looked fine...then all of a sudden my face started getting really dry and iritates, particularly around my chin and on the tip of my nose. I was getting out of the shower one morning and when i looked in the mirror there was a red circular spot on my nose. It looked like when you rip off the skin of a blister and you see the red skin underneath. I wasn't too worried, but the next morning when i got out of the shower it was even bigger, and since then it has gotten even bigger, and is actually starting to peel off into my right nostril. I'm starting to get worried. I think it might have been caused by a new brand of soap that i've boughten, or maybe my acne cream. I've tried, Carmex, face lotion, washing, Aloe Vera, and i'm out of ideas. The skin just keeps peeling off and making the area bigger. I don't know what to do. Someone plz help. If you need additional info just ask. Thanks.

Well I wouldn't use anything greasy like Carmex or Vaseline, those products attract and hold bacteria, keeping them right where you don't want them. Also, stop using any acne wash, acne creams, lotions, fragranced soap etc., those products will just aggravate the area. Wash the area in something like fragrance and dye free dial. You could also use a gentle antiseptic to help keep the area clean. It could be anything from severely dry skin and dehydration to an allergic reaction to some sort of infection. I would see your family doctor, they should be able to help you with no problems, and if for some reason they can't, they will refer you to a dermatologist that can.
Reply:Dude, get yourself to a dermatologist. You may have anything - simple sun/wind burn, allergic reaction, exzema or contact dermatitis. I wouldn't use soap on the area at all till you get to the doctor. Try a light application of vaseline to keep in your body's natural oils. Good luck.
Reply:stop using that new brand of soap!

if u havnt gotton this before and have been using ur acne cream for awhile then its not the cream doing it, stop using lotion on it sometimes its better to just let it heal on its on unless it just gets bigger after u stopped using the soap then i dont know what to tell ya.
