Skin disease?

My 4 yr old has a rare skin disease called Ichtyosis. Has anyone dealt with it or know someone who has. There is no special cream that I can find to help. If you know of any please let me know....

Skin disease?
Am not sure if these ideas will actually work but are worth a try. Creams with urea are supposed to be very hydrating %26amp; softening to the skin. They can be a bit strong for children's sensitive skin so cut back or stop if the skin becomes red. You should try to feed your 4 year old some essential fatty acids such as flax seed oil. There is a product made by Udo's oil that is specifically for kids. Keep researching %26amp; good luck.

Go to the Dermadoctor site %26amp; search for the question about ichytosis, it gave some more ideas.
Reply:Ichtyosis -genetic desease

-Traitment with Tigason (Neotigason)

-Cream for dry skin

I am from Romania. Report It

Reply:This is weird, I just happened to watch Montel Williams today and there was a woman with some sort of skin disease on there. I don't usually watch talk shows. I can't remember the name of the skin disease either. Maybe you can go to the website and check it out. Also, if you google ichtyosis you can get to a lot of websites that might help. Good luck!
