What do you suggest using?
For a facewash. I have a greasy nose with blackheads and my face is dry everywhere else and EXTREMLEY sensitive (even dove soap burns me and makes my skin feel all tight and sore).
So what face wash do you reccomend thats under £5.
Also,
What about aqueous cream? - I know it can be used as a cream and as a face wash (you mix it with water).
People with good skin..?
Try ProActiv...I started using it and love it. I refused to use it for awhile because of all of the celebrity endorsements and cheesy ads and commercials...and I hate to say it...but it works!
Reply:use Clearasil sensitive it is $6 but worth it
Reply:Get your mum to take you to the doctors, it could be Acne, if it is you'll get treatment free on NHS.
Reply:Best thing I have ever used is from the people that have the kiosk in the mall.
It is a face wash with Dead Sea Salt in it, and after I use it my skin looks AMAZING!!!
I think I paid 15 American for it.
Reply:CLEAN AND CLEAR (THE ORANGE STUFF) FOAMING AND THEIR BLACKHEAD WASH WITH OLAY MOISTERIZING LOTION...
Reply:i don't know about face wash but Biore pore stript are fantastic. they work 100%
3 dollars for a little box.
get the ultra one.
Reply:wash your entire face with just water. then use tea tree oil on the nose. let it dry. then apply witch hazel to your whole face. it should help.
good luck!:)%26lt;3
Reply:My girlfriend had a hard time with acne when she was younger. She is 21 now and it has nearly cleared up. She, however, used prescription medicine that was extremely powerful and a little dangerous.
The only other thing i can think of is drinking a lot of water helps keep the skin firm and healthy. I drink about a gallon a day but i am extremely active and i'm a man over 200lbs so its a decent amount for me. But a few bottles a day for you might help.
Hope this helped...!
Reply:Purchase Neutrogena Deep Clean face wash, wash your face with it every morning and night with warm water. Apply moisturized cream suitable for your skin (I use Neutrogena healthy skin face lotion bc I have sensitive skin). Don't touch your face with dirty hands. Take care of it this way daily.
Also, for acne, use Neutrogena Acne face wash.
Reply:don't use anything that foams.. if I were you i would give up 'washing' my face, just plain water and the aqueous cream, maybe use a toner (tea tree based) on your nose, and then the best moisturiser you can afford, astral is an oldie but a goodie, and its cheap!! ;-) xx
Reply:I use Biore and I have pretty sensitive skin plus it is oil free. Since you have really sensitive skin may not work though.
and for aqueous cream I really don't know b/c I have never used it before.
Reply:You should go to the doctors. They will provide you with something specifically designed for you. Clearasil may not be designed for your skin type, and may not work. With doctors, or your GP, they have something to work from. Go to them and they will give you something. (BTW, i tried something called Dalacin T Topical solution, works perfect).
Reply:Use a hot steaming face cloth with NO soap and lay it on your face until it cools. Follow by wiping your face off. Do this 3-4 times a day and it will drain your poors and clean you face without all the harsh chemicals. Also you can use raw egg whites as a face mask. Apply to your face, let it sit for about 15-20 minutes, then wipe clean. This worked for me. It took several months before I started to notice a change, but it made a big difference! Good luck!
Reply:don't use soap on your face. I have sensitive skin, and I use soap free body wash all over. For my face I use cleaning wipes or cleansing cream, and use cotton wool to remove it.
Use a moisturiser for dry skin, but don't put it around the oily part.
I think good skin comes from within, so cut down on fizzy drinks, sugar and salt. I presume you don't drink, being a teenager, but really alcohol, sets my skin off terrible.
I find the neutrogena brand very good, especially for skin prone to breakouts.
Reply:I think most people with a good skin are simply lucky to be born that way!
If you constantly have problems with your skin, I think you should see your doctor. There are treatments used for washing very sensitive skin which are available on prescription.
Most over the counter treatments are nowhere near as good as treatments that your doctor can prescribe. There are some no doubt which are good, but you could spend a fortune looking for the right one, yet get something that might be right for you on prescription and not have to pay.
Good luck.
Reply:I recommend the aqueous cream, I have load of patients who use it. mainly people with excema, or other skin problems.
You can wash with it, it wont lather up like soap or gel, but it does the job and Ive never heard anyone say it has irritated their skin. It also costs about £2 for a 500g tub, so its cheap too.
If that doesnt work, speak to your pharmacist, there are a few other things you can try. If you find one that worls, you can always see if its available on prescription.
Though at your age, you are gonna go through this, most teens do.
I would stay away from any of the commercial ones like clearasil etc they are still probably gonna cause irritation, try the aqueous and see how you go.
