Should hair bleaching cream burn?

I just bought Nair Cream Hair bleach, and I followed the instructions carefuly.

When I put it on it burned like hell, should it?

I took it off straight away. I have no one to ask.

My friend said try to not put it on your skin,

but isn't that impossible when you're trying to bleach your upper lip?

I hardly ever get allergic reactions, and my face is only a little red. But that may be because I tried hard to get it all off.

It was only on for around 40 seconds.

Is it normal for it to burn? What should it feel like?

Thanks for you help. Really appreciated.

I use hair removal cream instead of bleaching and waxing.

It's not nearly as messy and not painful at all and the hair takes ages to grow back, plus it only takes 5minutes.

try it?

Reply:This might mean you are allergic to it yes tke it off right away . It should say onthe box before using test a small area .
Reply:if u have a skin problem it might burn
Reply:Your skin is too sensitive to use it if it's burning you. Some people can use the creams, and some can't. When it tells you to patch test it before you try it, it's pretty much imperative that you do, otherwise you'll end up with some unpleasant results if it does burn you. I've had rashes up and down my legs from the stuff because I thought the exact same thing as you. "I'm not allergic to anything, I'll be fine."

I wasn't. ;P
Reply:I use a bleach that I leave on for 8 min. It starts to burn toward the end and I sometimes end up with red irritation where it was applied, but I put lotion on it and it usually goes away within half an hour...maybe that's bad, but I find it better than the hair removal stuff. That stuff is what burned me right away so that I couldn't leave it on at all. I'm guessing it's a skin sensitivity issue to the product...and you may just have to try a few to find one that works for you. Definitely try different brands, but look at the ingredient list to make sure you're not buying the exact same product under a different name.

Shaving/skin help, my legs are reddish pink all around after I shave what can I do?

So I use a normal razor and do use shaving cream! I moisturize with some lotion. But I DO NOT get bumps. They are just pinkish red and when you touch them they become normal skin color and then the colr goes back to reddish pink. If I am in the sun they aren't as noticable but it still is discolored. Does anyone know what it is? And how to fix it??

I would try a better grade of razor, a more moisturizing shaving cream, going with instead of against the grain of the hair, and heavy-duty lotion afterwards.
Reply:The reason that they are reddish-pink, is because of the pressure that you put on them when you were shaving. It will fix itself.

My skin got poisoned (ocean water). Is my immune system might come over it alone?

About 3 times, I swam in poluted rivers in Canada and California. Each time, my skin got itchy and got cover of many pimples.

I am just back from Puerto Rico, I swam in many areas. One was probably poluted. I got daily some new pimpes (5 days so far) but they are not itchy as usual. As usual, the first pimples were at the belt level.

I believe that my immunity system will eventually destroy that poison. Might it be possible or will I have to meet a doctor to get a prescription of a strong cream?

You have contact dermatitis. You are getting an allergic reaction to something in the water. In fact this is an improper immune response.
Reply:yep
Reply:See a doctor, and stay out of the water. I doubt you have been poisened, but you may have some kind of allergy.
Reply:sounds like you have full body herpes, and a fetish for swimming in poison water. your messed up
Reply:You need to consult a Dermotologist.......Soon.
Reply:You definatly need to see a doctor. I am a nurse and I have never heard of water poisoning on the skin. Infection or irritation maybe.

Never self diagnosis. Make a doctor appointment.

Any fair ness creams available which effects on the skin to become whiter in one year?now i am like westindian

Sorry but you're pretty much stuck with the skin color you're in for the rest of your life. The effective skin lightening creams work only temporarily. When you visit a dermatologist, they'd tell you the same thing too. There're no permanent skin whitening products in the market. Even after using skin lightening products and noticing a bit of lightening, your color will return to its original tone everytime it gets exposed to sunlight. The most effective way is by using sun block and you have to be VERY consistant. A dermatologist said that if you consistently put on sunscreen for 2 months but forgot to put it on one day while your out in the sun, the complete effects are reversed and you'd get your original color back. That's how consistant you have to be if you want to lighten your skin tone. Then again, putting on chemicals like sunscreen very consistently is also harmful.

Best you can do is use wear clothes to protect your body from the sunlight and a cap.

Also, if you have to use any skin lightening products, the most effective ingredient is hydroquinone. Unfortunately, this ingredient is carcinogenous, meaning it's cancer causing. So avoid it if you can.

Over the counter whitening creams can cause hyper - or hypo- pigmentation problems.

There's really no safe prescription medication to alter pigmentation either. (i.e. all have side effects)

The best thing to do is to wear sunscreen everyday %26amp; clothing impregnated w/ SPF. ex) Solumbra @ http://www.sunprecautions.com/
Reply:Use this homemade face pack for one week you will find a difference. Make a face pack consisting of cucumber juice, lemon juice and some rose water. To remove tan make a paste using Haldi (Turmeric) with a little raw (unboiled) milk and lemon juice. Apply it on the skin; it will help in removing a tan.
